Elmore Hall to host Experience UF event in February

Contract Supplier Showcase vendors and attendees

Tucked away on the west side of campus not far from Lake Alice is Elmore Hall, home of Asset Management, CFO Shared Services, Construction Accounting, Cost Analysis, Disbursements, Procurement Services, PCard Services and Travel. Last fall, Elmore Hall opened its doors for a back-to-school open house. About 160 people attended the event to meet experts on everything from myPayment Solutions and myUFL financials to vendor files, purchase orders and vouchers.

Elmore Hall staff also hosted the UF 2018 Contract Supplier Showcase last fall in the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom. Nearly 200 attendees joined to meet Procurement team and sales staff from 54 UF contract suppliers.

New faculty and professional staff will also have the chance to visit Elmore Hall this spring when CFO Mike McKee and his team host the next Experience UF event on Feb. 12. Experience UF, a partnership between UF Human Resources and the Office of the Provost, is a yearlong academic program for new faculty and professionals, especially those who have recently relocated to Gainesville. Each month, the program hosts a social networking event on campus or in the Gainesville community where faculty and professional staff meet campus and community leaders and colleagues from across all disciplines.

New faculty and professionals will receive an invitation from UFHR each month with details of future Experience UF social events. If you don’t receive an invitation or have questions, please contact experienceuf@hr.ufl.edu. Faculty and professional staff new to UF can also learn more here.
