UF Earns NPI Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award for fifth consecutive year

For the fifth consecutive year, UF Procurement has received the Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award from the National Procurement Institute (NPI). The award recognizes organizational excellence in public and nonprofit procurement, measuring innovation, professionalism, e-procurement, productivity and leadership attributes of the procurement function.

Procurement is responsible for facilitating purchases in myUF Market and providing UF-specific pricing for vendors with pre-negotiated terms. The team also manages the public solicitation process with items that are $75,000+ (the minimum set by the Board of Governors) and is the designated authority to sign requisition contracts. The team is always seeking the best value possible for UF faculty and staff.
