Financial Accountable Officers are identified to share strategic communications from the Office of the CFO to appropriate colleagues in their college, center, VP unit or department. Strategic communications include high-level administrative policies, directives and guidance that may be related to internal controls, business process changes, budget and procurement updates, scorecards, etc.
We have created a CFO Financial Accountable Officers listserv to provide for and encourage these strategic communications; however, please note that the listserv is designed to be a targeted communication avenue and will be actively managed by the AVP/Controller. Users will not be able to reply to the emails.
Departmental Financial Accountable Officers are also invited to share strategic communications from the Office of the CFO with appropriate colleagues in their department. Strategic communications will include directives, guidance and best practices that may be related to internal controls, business process changes, budget and procurement updates.
We have created a Departmental Financial Accountable Officers listserv to provide for and encourage these strategic communications; however, please note that the listserv is designed to be a targeted communication avenue and limited in nature. A Departmental Financial Accountable Officer could use this listserv to communicate with his/her peers across campus, but all communications will be actively managed by the AVP/Controller. This communication effort is evolving and may change based on needs of the authors or the listserv community.
