The Department Financial Transaction Review (DFTR) dashboard is a CFO Intelligence and Analytics (CIA) dashboard built in Power BI designed to facilitate automated, risk-based reconciliations and trend monitoring. The DFTR dashboard also provides metrics on key financial KPIs to facilitate trend and activity analysis.
This dashboard is intended for use by all tiers of fiscal staff and is recommended to replace the existing monthly reconciliation processes. As part of this dashboard, transactions that meet specific risk or trend-monitoring criteria will be flagged on a weekly and monthly basis.
As part of this implementation, Financial Accountable Officers are encouraged to work together to determine the appropriate business process and implementation timeline for your areas. Financial Accountable Officers (FAOs) should consider designating a CIA Champion from their area(s) to learn more about the tool and lead implementation efforts.
