How do I get sanitizing and protective equipment for my department?

UF is or has provided:

• Blue 3-ply and reusable cloth face coverings to essential employees and a percentage of employees by unit. More reusable/cloth are being ordered⁺
• 1 gallon pump bottles of hand sanitizer for use in reception areas and conference rooms (additional stations of hand sanitizer are being installed at building entrances).
• Disinfectant (in addition to that used by Facilities Services custodial staff) is available from Facilities Services’ Central Stores in 32oz bottles
  NOTE: Units need to coordinate requests through the College or VP unit contact who arranged pick up of masks and hand sanitizer

Disposable Face Coverings

If additional face coverings (beyond those already supplied by UF) are needed, please order from Fisher Scientific:

• Order through the Fisher punchout in myUF Marketplace and search the item number.
  • Item number 12-888-001A Case size is 500 each.
• This mask is not a surgical or medical grade mask but has specifications similar to at least a Level 1

Floor Decals

UF has centrally purchased a total of 5,000 combined of the six designs of UF-floor traffic decals for use in UF buildings.

Units can request decals from Facilities Services/Central Supply (1026 Magnolia Avenue):

Have a designated point of contact or your HR liaison for your College or VP unit, submit the below information to Central-Stores-Orders@ad.ufl.edu

• College or unit name & 4-digit department ID
• Quantity of each decal style requested (since there is a limited supply, please think carefully about how many are needed of each type)
  • Styles: Orange Arrow, Yellow Arrow, Yellow Gator Foot, Blue Gator Foot, Go with the Flow, 2 Bits
• Desired pick-up date/time
• Name of employee who will pick-up**

The decals are designed for hard floor usage but according to the printer who made them, will work on carpet.  Floors should be cleaned before the decals are stuck to them.  Floors can be waxed over the decal.  Additional information about installation and cleaning are available by email from Central Stores when decals are picked up.

Wipes are difficult to obtain – as an alternative use disinfectant with paper towels (available through Office Depot/Mister Paper*).
